LaTeciara “Venu$ (C.)” Gordon was already excelling in writing, acting, and music by age 12. At 23, she fully committed to her artistry.
Her creative journey began with words. In 2022, she self-published Blackest of Berries on Amazon and was invited to perform at the BlackLIT Book Fair in Fayetteville, NC. That same year, she dropped the “Why’d I Wait?” visualizer, followed by singles Good Day, Backseat Cooling, Falling Again, Family Matters, Like Nike, & most recently Make U Stay which she premiered at her 2nd V.I.B.E Concert series May 2025. She is currently at work on her debut album.
In May 2024 Venu$(C.) launched The V.I.B.E Concert Series, uniting 20 independent artists from across the country for a sold-out event in Brooklyn. She returned in May 2025 with an even larger showcase, expanding the event to include a fashion show and vendor market, further cementing The VIBE Concert as a staple platform for rising talent.
In August 2025, she co-launched No Gatekeepin’ alongside Kyle The Hooligan, a collaborative platform dedicated to artist empowerment. She also made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week for Oldhafer Studios, proving her versatility extends well beyond the mic.
As of Spring 2026, Venu$ stepped into a new chapter, joining independent label 3rd Eye Tribe as Head A&R, a label operating in direct partnership with Universal Music Group and The Orchard (a Sony Music company). In this role, she is positioned to uplift independent artists and indie labels through meaningful industry access, offering PR services via a powerful network of editorial outlets including Underground Hip-Hop Blog, the largest underground hip-hop editorial platform in the world, Play listing, Sync Opportunities & more. March 2026, Venu$ also became a member of the GRAMMYU program. For Venu$, this is an extension of her lifelong mission to open doors for others.
Venu$ is no stranger to the stage and screen either. A national finalist in Dramatic Interpretation at the National Forensics League tournament in Salt Lake City(2016), she honed her performance skills through high school theater before signing briefly with Carolina Talent. She has appeared as an extra in the film Paper Towns (shot at her high school), in commercials for Food Lion and Belk’s, and in the 2023 a Patreon short series “The Death of Me”, by highly acclaimed Charlotte artist & Promoter InfARed, where she played “Gloria”. Most recently, she starred in the comedy variety show Shayaya at NYC’s iconic $3 Bill venue, under the direction of Melissa Harris.
One thing remains constant: she does it all herself. From photography and videography to editing, flyer design, event planning, social media strategy, branding, PR, and publishing. LaTeciara Gordon is the definition of a modern mogul. She creates, builds, connects, and redefines what it means to be independent.
“I was built this way for a reason, so I’m going to use it.” — Simone Biles
